Visiting our shops is like going Downunder – you’ll be greeted like family 'whanau'. The atmosphere is laid back – no hard sell – but we’re right there, ready with ideas and answers if you need us.  Downunder is unlike any surf shop you've ever been to – you'll enjoy the look, feel, cool tunes, amazing views, on-water, even great video feed.  Our staff is friendly, approachable, efficient, and knowledgeable – they’ve paddled the product, taken clinics and received certifications from professionals (WPA, ACA, ASI), led trips, wear the gear, listened to the rep.  If they can't help you, they’ll find someone who can – they’re your mates! 

Each Downunder location has the ultimate in surf shop gear, fashions, and accessories. Downunder’s Westport location has 1200 square-feet stocked with best names in paddle boards, paddles, long boards, big sticks, SUP accessories, sit-on-top kayaks, and a full line of everything you need for on the water fun.  We also bring you the most unique swimwear, summer clothing, and accessories.  It may say Fairfield County as our location, but our vibe is totally surf.  Our Westport location also offers a marina and storage for SUPs.
 
Because of limited space in our store in Rowayton, SUP boards and kayaks are only for sale in our Westport shop. However, we will gladly transport any stand-up paddle board or kayak to you.  If you come to us, we can help you outfit your vehicle so you have the gear to transport it and knowhow.

Merchandise Returns
Sometimes you just can't decide – take it home and bring it back if it doesn't work out!  We have a 10 day return policy as long as product hasn't been work, and the tags are still on.  There are no returns on paddle boards, paddles, kayaks or sale items.
